RIVERFRONT VACATION CABIN

The owners of this beautiful riverfront lot asked me to design a custom 2-bed / 2-bath vacation cabin. My original design had a large master bedroom downstairs with a lofted guest bedroom and large windows to take advantage of the incredible mountain and river views. After cost and maintenance considerations, we decided on a simplified single-story home. I incorporated a set of antique arch windows which had recently been removed from the local Courthouse. The builder will have to address the glazing issue since they are single pane windows, but they will look awesome and allow the view from inside the cabin to be fully appreciated! As of December of 2019, the foundation is poured, the framing is complete, the trusses are on and the builder is working diligently to get the house dried-in… hopefully soon as the snow has begun here in the mountains!
